In Conversation With... David Hayman

First elected to parliament in 2015, Ian became the SNP's Westminster Parliamentary Leader in 2017, a position he still holds. Born and bred in Edinburgh, he was educated at the Royal High. Following his first job at Bank of Scotland as a teller, life quickly took Ian to London, eventually culminating in him leading Deutsche Bank operations in both the Netherlands and Scotland. After joining the SNP at age 16, most of Ian’s life has been dedicated to the cause of Scottish Independence. He also has a love of football, more specifically, Hibernian FC.
