In Conversation with… Barbara Dickson
Scotland’s top-selling female album artist of all time, Barbara Dickson, has had a 50 year life in music, telling stories through song and performance in the theatre, continuing to tour to this day. In conversation with Graham Spiers, Barbara traces her career from the late 1960s Fife folk circuit to chart-topping success and prime-time TV, the theatre and a 2002 OBE. Barbara is described by Aly Bain as having the best female voice ever to come out of Scotland; Billy Connolly says simply: 'her voice just nails me to the wall. She’s a one-off.'
