In Conversation With... Paddy Hill

One of the so-called Birmingham Six, wrongfully convicted of the Birmingham pub bombings in 1974, at that time the worst terrorist atrocity in mainland Britain.

Along with the fight to free Mandela, the campaign to free the Six became one of the biggest human rights campaigns in the world, finally resulting in the quashing of their convictions in 1991.

Since then Paddy Joe has campaigned tirelessly on behalf of fellow falsely-imprisoned inmates.

In 2001 he set up the Miscarriages of Justice Organisation, which continues to provide legal support for those who claim factual innocence.
